The Eagles produced 259 rushing yards in the Week 2 victory. The win improved the Eagles to 2-0 and Minnesota dropped to 0-2 on the season.
The Eagles now have a 16-15 all-time series record against the Vikings.

WINNERS
Eagles' rushing attack
The Eagles imposed their will running the football, and the Vikings had difficulty all night stopping Philly’s ground attack.
Philadelphia’s offensive line created holes and Eagles ball carries took advantage.
Running back D'Andre Swift rushed 28 times for a career-high 175 yards, plus a touchdown.
The Eagles amassed 48 carries, 259 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns.
DeVonta Smith goes deep
Smith had a 54-yard reception in the first half and caught a 63-yard touchdown in the third quarter to break the game open at 27-7.
Smith ended the game with four catches, 131 yards and one touchdown. He was targeted five times.
Eagles' defensive line
Minnesota's offensive line had a difficult time blocking the Eagles' front. The Vikings were only able to produce 28 rushing yards. Vikings QB Kirk Cousins, who threw for 364 yards and four touchdowns, was sacked twice and hit 10 times.
Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison make plays in loss
Jefferson totaled nine catches and 150 receiving yards in a Week 1 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Vikings star wide receiver had 11 catches and 159 receiving yards in the team’s Week 2 defeat.
Addison had a touchdown reception in his NFL debut and got into the end zone again Thursday night. He beat one-on-one coverage and caught a deep pass from Cousins for a 62-yard touchdown.
Jefferson’s already known as one of the premier wide receivers in the NFL, but Addison is turning into a nice complement.
The two combined for 231 receiving yards in the Week 2 loss.
Vikings safety Camryn Bynum
Bynum was a tackling machine for Minnesota. The Vikings safety had a game-high 15 tackles. He had 10 tackles in Week 1.
Michael Buffer
The announcer did his signature “let’s get ready to rumble” call pregame to get the Philly fans hyped.
LOSERS
Vikings' ball security
You can bet the Vikings will work on ball security in practice leading up to Week 3. Minnesota had a whooping four lost fumbles in Thursday’s loss. Kirk Cousins, Brandon Powell, Alexander Mattison and Justin Jefferson all lost fumbles.
Jefferson coughed the ball up in the end zone, which resulted in a touchback right before halftime.
Vikings' run defense
The Vikings were dominated on the ground. Minnesota’s run defense gave up 259 rushing yards. The Eagles averaged 5.4 yards per carry.
Vikings’ time of possession
The Eagles nearly doubled the Vikings in time of possession. Philadelphia totaled 39 minutes and 28 seconds in time of possession compared to 20 minutes and 32 seconds from Minnesota.
The Vikings can attribute the possession disparity to their poor run defense.
